A beautiful swim, but long and tough. A good event for clubs or athletes
training for longer triathlon distances.

Distances and start times
- The Ultra, 7km, starts at 08:00. Cut-off 4 hours 30.
- The Long, 5km, starts at 09:00.
- The Short, 3km, starts at 10:00.
The route
The swim follows the shore of Brandvlei Dam and never goes more than 50m
from the shoreline. Lifeguards are on duty in a boat, with a shore safety
crew as well.
Entry
- R550 in advance.
- R650 on the day, limited to 10 entries.
- Entry includes juice on arrival, a Beautiful Oceans summer hoodie
and a medal for every finisher.
On the day
- Prize giving at 14:00. You need to be there to claim a prize.
- Camping is available at Worcester Yacht Club.
- If the weather turns, the event rolls over to Sunday 29 November.
